I have been staying at the same hotel for more than a month already. Villa Marina Lodge is on a beach of the pacific coast in Panama, an heavenly place to spend christmas. Difficult to feel the «christmas spirit» though: sun and coconut trees, I’m not use to such a month of December! But, I’m not going to complain! Of course, I would have loved to be able to share such a speciaal moment of the year with my family, but:
- This is part of the constraints of the project I chose to undertake,
- I’ve got the chance to be welcomed by the family of one of the hotel employee for dinner and to spend the night, such a great cultural experience and gesture of generosity,
- Thanks to Christine (Tenorio Lodge, Costa Rica), I do have some «foie gras» at the menu (thanks again Christine!),
- And, I promise, mum, dad, I’ll be back for Christmas next year!
These last weeks I shared again beautiful and memorable moments with the hotel team. Panama will definitely have a very special place in my heart.
